CHAIR YOGA


Benefits of yoga are now known by a large population worldwide. It is really good to maintain our health and well being. It has a duet of breathing and doing movements which makes us more relaxed and composed and do not allow our body to get tired. In these times where competition is at its extreme people often don’t get time to go and attend a yoga session and perform yoga. This is usually known as Chair Yoga. In Chair yoga a person has to simply perform some poses and do breathing exercises while sitting on a chair.  Breathing exercises which can be performed during chair yoga can be really beneficial. Proper breathing helps you relax and avoid anxiety because of stress at work. It also lets you breathe in lots of oxygen and recharges you with energy. Sunrise Salutation can be performed while sitting on chair. This pose is different from sun salutation which actually requires standing. By doing Sunrise salutation you can provide relaxation to muscles of neck, arms, back and pelvis which might have stressed out because of your prolonged sitting. By chair yoga you will be able to re align your spine and also prevent yourself from having neck and back problems. These complaints are common from people sitting in front of computers for long periods of time. Chair yoga will help you to get rid of such problems which might affect your work. After doing chair yoga you might work better and to the best of your capabilities.
